"Merci" an unsere "persoenliche" Waitress Regine
interessanten walk in ihrem schoenen village.
schoenen fijianischen Gesaengen organisiert.
Machet wyter so!

…We discovered this hidden paradise on its best! Clear blue sky,
calm sea and warm waters. Your standard is way above the rest of
Fiji as we have experienced it. The food a unique mix of
Swiss-Fijian is great even for a spoilt stomach. But the top of
course is the special treat we received with a traditional Lovo -
Fiji culture at its best!
We wish you all the very best and lots of happy visitors to come.
Keep up the good work.

"A brilliant transformation and landscaping" Y.G.
It was early childhood days that I roamed around the shores and the
forest of Lawaki. Today, almost 42 years later, as I sat on the
verandah of your bure looking out to the beautiful calm waters I
felt a refreshing breath of air and a feeling of renewed life which
is a reawakening process as one strives to reach the profound
calmness of one's roots.
I had to come to Lawaki to reconfirm my roots in Naceva in Beqa.
The facilities are excellent. The service: first class. The food:
natural and fresh from the farm and sea.
This trip is to confirm family network and strengthen family ties,
at the same time it's Christmas outing, a family picnic, a swim in
the sea and taste seafood straight out of the sea.
You have made our stay a memorable one and we will be back soon.

Even though our visit to Beqa was for family
"reasons"", the atmosphere at Lawaki was great. It
gives me the real picture of what I had in mind when I retire from
UN.
Although this visit was planned just for one night in Beqa, I
regret, it was just to short. Surely when my boys next visit to
Fiji, one week or two in Lawaki will be on the itinerary, perhaps
next Christmas 2003.
We really enjoyed our stay at Lawaki and the short visit in the
village Naceva. It was also nice to meet up with the family members.
Christine' smiling personality will not be forgotten, it will be in
our minds and last as long as we live.
Our very best wishes and joy of Christmas and Happiness in the new
year.

We decided to make a short trip to Fiji to relax, refresh and truly
"get away from it all". We could not have found a better
spot to achieve this than Lawaki. We are truly reinvigorated after
our stay and are ready toke on the world again!
Lawaki turned out to be an amazing, beautiful, tranquil place.
Fantastic snorkeling on coral reefs just meters from the door of our
bure, underwater highlights had to be the sea turtle off of Steward
Island!! (Trish will still talk about it an year from now). Also got
my birdwatching fix…
Food, accommodation etc first class, everything very laid back and
intimate-we felt like family members in no time (even the dogs
turned to us for a scratch after a few days¨) Despite having plenty
to do and places to explore, we still found time to laze the
afternoon away in an hammock between two coconut palms-the perfect
tropical setting.
Thanks very much for rejuvenating our spirits-good luck in the
future!!
P.S. Look for a glaring recommendation from us in some future Lonely
Planet!

The wonderful bread that you bake, I had heard of a long time before
I met you, or even came to Lawaki Beach House. Ross was not
exaggerating at all. The wonderfull food he had not sampled, so
could not comment about at the time. Your food and hospitality
surpasses all other resorts that I have stayed at in my years in
Fjij. This is by far the best place to come to if you need peace and
tranquility. The setting is wonderful, the accommodation very
comfortable, the meals fantastic. Please keep this little bit of
heaven unspoilt! We will always come back!

Many thanks to all of you for making our week on Beqa such an
enjoyable and relaxing time. Firstly-thanks to Seleima, our
wonderful tour guide, in Naceva village. And Salome for our school
visit and both of you for helping with my "vakaviti".
Christine-you are so "bubbly" and friendly and you made us
both feel most welcome. Many thanks to Sam and Taka for the spear
fishing lessons and the diving and Sam for pounding the Kava.
A special night for us was when the boys from the village came and
played guitar and sang and we drank Beqa kava. We will remember that
night for a long time. Thanks again to everyone of Lawaki for making
our stay on Beqa most memorable- We will tell all our friends!!

A bientot peut-etre….

We have really enjoyed our three days at Lawaki, we have been
traveling for six months, and this certainly has been a relaxing
break from backpacking! The setting is idyllic,
there could not be a more secluded and beautiful place to escape
from it all.
Highlights of our stay include:
fantastic snorkeling, though I was a bit frightened to see a sea
snake only 1 meter away from me! - village walk to Naceva,
especially the lovely songs which the village children sang for us -
Seleima laughing at our attempt to walk gracefully in the mud on the
village walk. Rob's shorts thoroughly covered in mud by the time we
got to the next village ( I hope that the villagers do not think
that all Englishmen have no coordination and grace¨) - Afternoon
kava session, Rob's many "high tides" made him sleep very
soundly all night! Also where we came up with the name of "Lawaki
Delight" and we hope some history was made. - Diving in Beqa
Lagoon, really beautiful dive sites with many types of fish, sharks,
corals and really friendly and informative guides - lovely Fijian
food, as well as lots of tea - well we are English!
We will definitely remember Lawaki as one of the highlights of our
trip, when we are back home in the cold and rain we will think about
the Kava session and how we thought Lawaki is tranquil, dream-like,
idyllic and delightful!

Serene, tranquil, sun, sea, snorkeling & surfing_ what more
could you ask for?
We have had a wonderful 4 days away from work and stress and home.
Surfing for Andrew (16) at Legional Straights was his first
experience of reef surfing, his friends at home will beb envious.
Diving off the beach: fantastic. Rogers first experience of scuba
diving with sharks will be told on many occasions - no, he didn't
quite walk on water! Christine & Sam's welcome here, and
constant attention was fantastic, drinking kava, watching the Super
12 and the fantastic meals will be remembered and treasured by us.
Thanks for making our first stay in Fiji memorable.

thank you for a great hospitality. We enjoyed the scenery, the
snorkeling, the visit to the village and last but not least the food
and the service.

Does the world exist? Not when you are here in Lawaki, looking out
on an approaching sunset over a smooth ocean: this is the world! The
only sound is the gentle, rhythmic pulse of the waves on the sand
and the giggle of men sitting around preparing a Lovo. They are
telling tales and stories which are obviously very funny- but I
can't understand them unfortunately. But it will be a happy eating
time.
Sam & Salome have been the best hosts in every way with Salome
presenting a smorgasbord of delicious food & Sam with his big
friendly smile, teaching us to snorkel and telling us traditional
stories. Even the dogs and the cat are so friendly and well behaved.
This has been one experience which words cannot accurately describe
or sum up. Don't stop smiling Sam - it's a sheen there aren't the
same smiles around the world. Thanks for a great and unforgettable
two days.

I went snorkeling for the first time today. It was
fantastic! What a wonderful end of a working visit to Fiji. I will
return and bring my two big sons with me. They will love it!
